Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale Haul - Recut Buttercup Shorts

The Lilly Pulitzer After Party Sale has come and gone once again, and this time around I was lucky enough to score 3 recut shorts (items that were never mass produced but made from leftover fabrics/prints). I found my favorite buttercup shorts in 3 revived prints, Written in the Sun, Lulu, and Jellies Be Jammin’! They were delivered today and I couldn’t wait to try them on! They fit just like regular buttercups, but the legs of the shorts seem wider than my other pairs of the same size. Adorned with a gold button and gold script inside, they’re a new twist on old prints and I’m so excited they brought these prints back as recut shorts- especially written in the sun! It’s odd that they still say “2014” on the shorts, but that’s when they originally ran, so I’m just excited to have the Callahans and Buttercup shorts in WITS! Lulu was never produced in shorts as far as I’m aware, but JBJ was originally made in 3″ Walsh shorts and the 5″ buttercups.
