Yesterday, I had the privilege of watching the much anticipated University of Michigan v. Wisconsin game in the Big House at the End Zone! The only better seats in the House were on the field itself! I got some incredible shots, had an unforgettable time cheering on my alma mater, and made a few new friends!
The view was out of this world!
I’ve loved photography for years, and this was one of the most exciting events I’ve ever had the pleasure of shooting! There were more than 111,000 people in attendance at this record breaking event. Prior to the game, Michigan was ranked #4, and Wisconsin #8, so it would be a great match up!

Before I get started on the awesome game details, here’s a bit about what I wore (since this is a blog called “Annie Wears It” afterall! Jeans by Vineyard Vines (LeeWard Wash!), Watch by Daniel Wellington, Pearls from Brooks Brothers, Gifted Michigan Shirt!
I managed to catch some incredible images of the action in the game, and a few of my favorites are above and below!
Wisconsin played an awesome game, and I absolutely loved the intensity on everyone’s faces.
This was such a fun shot to take! If the net hadn’t been there to catch #38’s kick, it would’ve gone flying clear out of the stadium!
Michigan’s cheer team was so talented, it was a treat just to watch them perform!
Michigan’s Marching Band is one of the best in the world, and the amount of dedication, talent, and hard work they put into their performances was on full display at the game!
For a time, I was standing next to Wisconsin’s band members, and they were so kind and excited about the game. They had some of the best sportsmanship I’ve ever witnessed, cheering for both sides, and getting into the game.
Since we were standing at the end zone, we had a first hand look at the color guard raising and lowering the flag.
Michigan scored the first touch down & field goal, taking the lead 7-0, and Wisconsin scored shortly thereafter, tying it up.
Before everyone had taken their seats…
The 20 yard line. Eventually, Michigan scored another touchdown & field goal regaining the lead 14-7, which ended up being the final score! During the game there was a strong weather advisory, it rained, a couple of airmen did a skydive into the stadium, and more than 100,000 people had the time of their lives watching the game!
