Heading to Sevilla, Spain
Since I began studying Spanish in fourth grade, I’ve dreamed of visiting Spain. It’s such an incredible place, filled with incredible art, architecture, gardens, fashion, food, and so much history it would be impossible to even begin to describe it. Now that we’re heading to Sevilla, Spain, to finish our summer in Europe, I couldn’t be more excited! I’ll be referring to the city by its proper Spanish name, Sevilla (pronounced like ‘quesadilla’), but you’ll see the category called Seville, the English name for the city. That’s to help my post reach the right people via SEO!
I was worried about the rumors of people throwing water on tourists, but everyone has been exceptionally kind to us. Perhaps it’s because I can speak to anyone we meet in Spanish, but we’ve had no issues.
Once we spend a week in Sevilla, we’re heading to Mallorca, a stunning island off the coast of Spain that’s part of the Balearic Islands. We’ll explore gorgeous places like Palma de Mallorca, Port de Soller, Porto Cristo, Cala Romanticá, Pollença, Puigpunyent, and other beaches and towns during another week in the Iberian Peninsula.
