Exploring Greenland from Above

During our trip to Europe, we flew over the beautiful country of Greenland. I couldn’t believe how stunning the snowy, windswept peaks and valleys below me were, and I tried my best to get good shots from inside our plane, 18,000 feet above the ground. One of the most breathtaking and dramatic landscapes I had ever seen was sprawled out beneath our plane, and while I pushed my face and camera as close to the glass as possible, many of my fellow passengers slept soundly, dreaming of arriving safely in Poland, unaware of the insurmountable beauty of Greenland they were missing out on below.

While these images aren’t necessarily my best work, I will always cherish these images of Greenland’s splendour, because they represent the beginning of a beautiful 6 weeks abroad with the love of my life, and many dreams I’ve held since childhood finally realized. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoyed taking them!
