If you’ve ever looked at the internet (spoiler alert, if you’re reading this, you’re online, haha), you’ve probably heard of the majorly successful beauty brand called Glossier, which has a global cult following. While we were in West Hollywood, after grabbing our fix of adaptogenic super juices from Moon Juice, we walked around the block to Glossier. I was first struck by the fact that there seemed to be a guard standing outside, wearing a pink jumpsuit armed with an iPad, which was weird to me.
When we walked up to the door, the person I’d assumed was sort of guard greeted us with a huge smile and asked if I was there to pick up an order or if I just wanted to play around. We told her we were just there to browse, and she ushered us inside into the pinkest store I’ve ever seen. Absolutely anything that could be pink was pink, from the walls and ceiling to the railings and sinks for testing their products. Even the flowers and beauty products themselves were a pastel, millennial pink.

The atmosphere inside Glossier was one of excitement and friendliness, as girls from all walks of life gave one another compliments on their makeup or outfits and worked towards the common goal of finding products that work for their skin. Walking inside Glossier felt exactly like walking into a friend’s home where the rest of your friends are already in the midst of getting ready for a big event. Everyone seemed to be having a great time, and the Glossier team was so great about helping shoppers find the products that would best suit their needs.
I noticed rather immediately that there was a lack of cash registers. I quickly discovered that the team in the cute, pink jumpsuits with iPads were there to help people make purchases, order custom products, or have items delivered directly to their homes which was really cool. I also never noticed a line to get help because everything ran so efficiently.
However, my absolute favorite part of the entire shopping experience was the miniature version of Antelope Canyon in the back of the store! I didn’t know about it, but my husband waved me over; a shop employee opened the door and directed us inside and then shut the door behind us. It was like being in another world and was such an awesome surprise! This is an awesome thing to check out or take a selfie inside if you’re in the area! I have always wanted to visit Antelope Canyon. Still, every time we have headed out to Arizona to visit family, it’s either been monsoon season where it’s too dangerous to visit, or we didn’t have enough time to make the drive from Tucson to Page, AZ, so this was one of the coolest surprises!

If you can’t make it to California to check out this Glossier store with a miniature canyon inside (!!!), I’ve created a stoppable boutique below where you can get your hands on some of Glossier’s favorite products and try them at home! I highly recommend the versatile cloud paint!
