Thank you to Ghostek for sponsoring this post! All opinions are always my own!
Ghostek sent me this really cool portable charging bag. It can hold up to a 10.1″ tablet, the fabric is water resistant, the cross body strap is adjustable for either Robin or I can wear it comfortably, it has an external battery light that indicates how much charge the bag has left, and I was able to completely recharge my cell phone 6 times on a single charge! I’m so excited to take this with us when we head to NYC for fashion week, this will be the perfect way to ensure our phones don’t die on us, and it’s really easy to use. To charge the bag, just use a USB cable to connect the internal battery to a power source, wait a few hours until it’s fully charged, plug your phone charger into it and you’re ready to go!

There are several internal and external pockets and the design is really sleek. There’s even a micro-USB port on the outside of the bag too! It retails for $90, and honestly, I would pay more than that for it. This bag is a lifesaver, and it’s very inconspicuous, so you won’t have to share your power source with anyone (unless you want to!). Check out my breakdown of what I think below!
Design – 5/5 (I’d love to see more colors like navy and white!)
Ease of Use – 5/5: We didn’t realize there were instructions along with it at first, because you have to scan a QR code to find them (5/5 for environmental friendliness!), so we struggled for a bit to make it work, but it’s honestly not difficult to use at all. Once we downloaded the instructions, they were very clear.
Lightweight & Durability – 5/5: We took this bad boy out into the rain and on a hike with us and it stood up to everything we threw at it, plus the water didn’t damage anything inside. It’s also very lightweight!
Convenience – 6/5: My phone dies ALL THE TIME. From checking emails to social media stuff, I use my phone and run down the battery at least twice a day. This bag makes it so that I never have to have a dead phone, even when I’m nowhere near an outlet. I’m so thankful for that!
Feeling like a Spy-ness – 6/5: This is seriously such a cool concept!
Overall, I highly recommend this bag. We’ll be using it during NYFW and our future travels, so you’ll definitely be seeing more of it. My husband seems to think it’s “his bag”, so wish me luck getting it back from him haha (just kidding, we share everything, he just REALLY likes this!). Speaking of which, this would be an awesome gift for hard-to-shop for people on your holiday gift guides! You can pick one up here.
