We absolutely loved our fresh, flavorful, and filling meals at The Garden Table during our most recent visit to Indianapolis. Not only were the staff fantastic, friendly, and speedy with our orders, they also helped us pick out dishes we both enjoyed thoroughly, which helped us to start our day on the right foot.

If you’re a lover of fresh pressed juices like I am, I highly recommend doing a juice flight. You’ll not only get more for your money, you’ll also get to sample some of their dozen drink options. I loved the “Detox Dream” charcoal lemonade, bright blue “Cashew Concoction”, “Hoosier Heat”, and “Emerald Elixir”. My husband always jokes that my eyes are so green because I drink so much green juice whenever we find it, and this was some of the best I’ve ever had.

One of my favorite aspects of The Garden Table was how dedicated they were to the transparency of where they source their ingredients. It’s not often that we find restaurants with lists of where they buy their produce, dairy, or pastries, so it was refreshing in more ways than one to know where our food was coming from. Their menu is also seasonal, which means that they don’t offer ingredients that aren’t currently growing in the area, which is better for the environment and our bodies, since produce and other ingredients isn’t frozen, freeze dried, or shipped half way around the world before it reached our plates.

The Garden Table also caters to every diet under the sun and has ample options for vegans, pescatarians, those with gluten intolerances, and those watching how much sugar they eat. This made it a perfect spot for us to meet up with some friends while we were in town, because we knew that no matter what each of us wanted to eat for brunch, The Garden Table was bound to have something we could all enjoy together.
I also loved the fact that they had an entire cold case of their fresh pressed juices so that if you’re in a hurry, you can grab one and go. I brought back a Detox Dream charcoal detox drink and a Cashew Concoction for the road and breakfast the next day and they were absolutely delightful. I do wish they used glass bottles instead of plastic, even though it would raise the cost a bit, because glass bottles are better for our planet and our health, as they reduce our exposure to phthalates that are present in plastic bottles.
We Recommend: Fresh Pressed Juice Flight, Açai Bowl with Homemade Almond Butter and Seasonal Fruits, Smoked Salmon Hash, and Green Matcha Latté.
If you’re in the Indianapolis area, I can’t recommend The Garden Table enough. The interior was beautiful, airy, and inviting, the food and drinks were fantastic, and the staff went above and beyond at every turn to help us find the perfect dishes and make our meals unforgettable.
