Nothing screams “vacation” like a comfortable dress. I love being able to throw something on and go—ideally, just one thing. I don’t want to fuss with matching separates, worry about how sheer something is, or worry about whether or not I brought the right bag to go with it. I want to be comfortable and feel good about what I’m wearing, which is why I love this fuchsia & coral blouson dress I wore in Spain.

A blouson is a type of dress that is cinched (or buttoned and cinched, in this case) tightly at the waist to create a ballooning silhouette. It’s cute, billowy, and, most importantly, comfortable when it’s 105º outside!
This fuchsia & coral blouson dress is particularly gorgeous. I love the color, but the peach celestial embroidery really sets it off. The mother-of-pearl buttons bring everything together and the bow can be tied in the front, back, or side, to mix up the look. It comes with a matching slip, so you can toss it on and go without worrying about other undergarments working.
The sizing on this is true to size. I’m wearing a 0 here, which is an XS in the brand. Explore other Juliet Dunn styles I’ve worn. I love their dresses because they fit well, are made well, and look great. Plus, the timeless styles mean they’re endlessly re-wearable.
They have plenty of gorgeous floral, celestial, and abstract pattern dresses, as well as some solid colors. I particularly like the ones with ric rac trim because it’s a feminine take on classic scallop trim. In addition to organic cotton, they’ve begun offering more silk styles, all of which are perfect for going from the beach to dinner and back.
