On our visit to breathtaking Austria last year, I first encountered the luxurious, sustainability-minded, family-owned brand Frauenschuh. With impeccable cuts, incomparable Alpine-inspired style, and incredibly high-quality materials, it was love at first sight. When I discovered that one of my favorite high-end retailers, Saint Bernard, sold not only Frauenschuh but other great brands like Marysia, Bogner, GoGo, Vince, and ON, I was thrilled that I could prepare for any journey, whether to the beach, the mountains, the jungle, or beyond from a single store. We recently had snow for the first time in ages, and I broke out some of my favorite pieces.

Frauenschuh, as I mentioned, is an epic Austrian brand that marries function and style without sacrificing durability or sustainability. Their clothing is so soft, so warm, and exceptionally comfortable. I know I’ll have these pieces for life! I wore my normal size in everything from Frauenschuh, and I found that their size charts were very accurate.
I layered the jacket with a Theory cashmere cardigan from two years ago that still looks as new as the day I bought it, along with an organic cotton tee shirt from my favorite loungewear brand Skin. Additionally, my cashmere joggers are from Skin too, and SO outrageously comfortable. I own these in two colors and wear them whenever I want to feel extra comfortable and warm.
My boots are from Bogner. They’re an awesome outdoor brand that makes durable cold-weather wear. These boots have Michelin rubber soles, shearling-trimmed suede outers, and so much padding inside the boot it’s like walking on air. These have a chunkier silhouette than most boots, but for good reason – they are SO warm! They remind me of wearing much warmer, thicker Ugg boots.

I find that dressing in layers really helps me stay warmer than wearing a single super thick layer. This way, I can add or remove layers as necessary without being uncomfortable. Mixing warm materials like wool, cashmere, cotton, and shearling or suede makes cold weather so much more enjoyable, on or off the slopes.
I really like that Saint Bernard offers so many of the very best luxury resort brands in one place. It makes shopping for any trip a breeze. Shipping was fast and convenient, everything arrived exactly as described online, and the store constantly adds new brands and new items, so there are always great styles to explore. I’ve even discovered a few of my new favorite brands through Saint Bernard!
