Fashion Outlets of Chicago, located near the Chicago O’Hare Airport, invited me to shop their luxury outlet stores during our time in Chicago, and it was an incredible experience. The mall was gorgeous, and every single store in the mall is an outlet location, which means they offer deeply discounted items that are a season or two behind retail stores.
Some of the luxury brands on offer included Moncler, Theory, Jimmy Choo, Prada, Gucci, Burberry, Ralph Lauren, Tory Burch, Vince, and some of my other favorite brands like Lululemon, Vineyard Vines, and J. Crew. I couldn’t believe how many fantastic deals I found around the mall, like blouses Burberry for less than $80, dresses at J. Crew under $30, and handbags at Prada for 50-80% off retail, with another 20% off certain items.
For instance, the Jimmy Choo outlet, which was brimming with gorgeous heels, handbags, sunglasses, even shoes and accessories for men, was running a sale for 50% off already deeply discounted prices while we were there. To give you an idea, they were offering shoes as low as $200, handbags as low as $450, and sunglasses for around $50. It really is the best place to find brand new, authentic, Jimmy Choo, and you can buy 2-3x more than you’d buy spending the same amount on retail.
For $5, you can also pick up a Fashion Outlets Savings Pass at Guest Services, and save even more at certain stores. The Fashion Outlets Savings Pass while I was there offered 10% off a purchase at Coach, 20% off at Banana Republic, 12 free truffles at the Lindt Chocolate outlet, and more. It’s absolutely worth it to pick one up during your visit. During the month of October, the $5 proceeds from each savings pass will be donated to a local Breast Cancer charity, so you can feel even better about stocking up on gorgeous new digs!
Another great initiative the outlets are running this month, is happening at Lululemon, an outlet that offers up to 75% off retail prices. During the month of October, bring in your ill-fitting bra & receive 50% off your in-store bra purchase. The team at Lululemon will make sure your old bras find a new home with a pair of girls in need. I love that there were so many ways to give back, while indulging in significant savings at the outlet mall.
I had such a great time exploring the luxury shops at Fashion Outlets of Chicago, many of which don’t have other outlets anywhere in the midwest, and have only a handful of outlets around the world. My husband and I also enjoyed product presentations from a few of the stores, like Theory, and Jimmy Choo, and it was so much fun to learn more about brands I already love. For example, I knew that Theory is all about versatile workwear, but what I didn’t realize was that they use a very specific palette that means you can buy a blazer or dress one season, then come back subsequent seasons to pick up other pieces that will perfectly match or coordinate with things you already own. It’s so clever!
Of course, I picked up a few incredible pieces, and I’m so excited to share them all with you, along with how much I saved on each. You’re seriously going to be blown away by how inexpensive high-end, designed pieces are here! I’ll be uploading a haul video over on my YouTube channel this week, sharing what I bought at the Fashion Outlets of Chicago, and sharing more about how I style them, how to care for luxury pieces, and more, so be sure to subscribe to get notified when a new video goes up!
