I live for Hunter Boots. 17 pairs sit in my closet, and I wear them 85% of the year in Michigan. Rain, snow, gardening, trudging through mud and muck are no trouble for these beautiful rubber boots, and they hold up so well that they all look as new as the day I purchased them. I firmly believe that Hunter Boots are one of the best brands on the footwear market, and when I heard that they were collaborating with Target I just about lost my mind. Then the preview of what would be included hit and I REALLY lost it. Camping outside of my nearest Target the night before they’re released is something I fully intend to do if that tells you anything at all.
What we know for sure is that they hit stores and online on April 14th, but Target Red Credit Card holders get early access on April 7th, so if you don’t have a Target Red Credit Card, it might be worth it to sign up if you want in early. Women’s footwear starts at $20 for slides and sneakers and tall rubber boots will be $40 compared to regular Hunter Boots which start around $140 and can be as much as $300. They’ll also be including clothing, shoes and accessories for men, children, and they will have a plus size line as well. The logo on the items is identical to the standard Hunter logo, and the only difference in the boots is that instead of being cut straight across they slant slightly down. There are a few patterns included, but mainly items are primary colors and hues like pink or olive green.
When it comes to sizing, I always size up at least one size in Hunter Boots. For instance, I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 in shoes, but I always buy 8 or 9s in Hunter boots. If you want extra room for socks, definitely size up again so you can be comfortable. Hunter Boots doesn’t offer half sizes, so if you’re in between it’s always best to size up. I’ve also made a number of YouTube videos about Hunter Boots which you can check out for more info on sizing, care, color selection, what to wear them with, etc.
