Downeast Clothing Haul 70% Off Clearance Sale and How to Wear it by Annie Fairfax Cute Fall Outfit Ideas OOTD

Downeast Fall Clothing Haul & Try-on

I donated more than half of my closet earlier this year, and sold about another 1/4 of it, so I was left with almost nothing to wear when fall weather hit. I was looking for a few fun fall pieces to wear, when I remembered Downeast, and discovered that they were having a 70% off their clearance sale! While the sale has ended, they still have some great deals going on! Here’s what I bought, and how I styled it quickly at home!

Downeast Gingham Dress, Downeast Sweater, Ralph Lauren Leather Skirt, Downeast Heels, Steamline Luggage, Anothersole Shoes (c/o)

I LOVE this striped sweater, it’s something I could wear all year long, with black leggings, this pleated skirt, jeans, or shorts. I’m wearing the XS here. The shoes are TTS, and the skirt is also true to size, and I’m wearing a 4. If you have ever read my blog before, you’ll know how entirely obsessed I am with my favorite luggage! The Anothersole shoes in black pebbled leather are what I’d wear with this if I was walking around a city or hanging out with friends, and I’d change into the heels for dinner!

Downeast Dress, Anothersole Shoes (c/o), Downeast Sweater (sold out)

This Downeast sweater is my new favorite short sleeve sweater! It’s very similar in quality to Sézane sweaters, and it’s so soft, and true to size. I paired it with a sunflower embroidered skirt I bought at a vintage shop, and the brown dress on the left is super easy to wear with a pair of Anothersole shoes! The “doe” color matches the dress so well, it’s like they planned it. I will definitely get a lot of wear out of both of these this fall.

Downeast Dress, Downeast Top, Ralph Lauren Skirt, Anothersole Shoes (c/o), Dooney & Bourke Vintage Bag (similar here and here)

The striped dress is ribbed, so it’s perfectly textured for fall. My only complain with this one is that the top of the dress didn’t align with the bottom of the dress when it was sewn together, so the stripes in the middle crash into each other. I paid around $10 for it however, so I can’t complain and it’s not obtrusive enough for anyone to notice. The blouse is a very lovely woven cotton material with embroidered shapes in it. I’m wearing the XS, and I should have sized up to the small, because it’s a bit tight in the arms, but still totally wearable. Both of these outfits make me want autumn ASAP!

Have you ever shopped with Downeast? I will definitely be watching their site for new releases, because I am obsessed with their style!

Happy Shopping!
