In my previous post about Hotel Der Kleine Prinz, I mentioned how delicious the food was. While there wasn’t much we could eat as vegetarians, what we could eat was delicious, and the dining rooms were gorgeous!
They had a lovely selection of meats and cheeses, which we don’t eat unfortunately.
This jam/mustard selection was outstanding! I bought a jar of the mustard to bring home – it’s incredible!
Lots of options for tea, coffee, etc.
They had many more baskets of various breads, rolls, and crescents.
There were fresh flowers on every table, the decor was lovely and everything tied into the whimsical theme of “Der Kleine Prinz” [the little prince is a fictional character who represents the author’s view of the world. It’s an interesting story, told in a really cool way].
At every meal, staff came and lit the candle on our table, and made sure our glasses were never empty.
The paintings on the wall are from the book Der Kleine Prinz.
This fireplace was wonderfully inviting, and kept the dining room nice and comfortable. Not sure what the silver lobster was for, but I liked it haha
Just inside the dining area was a gold toned coat rack with gold toned hangers.
More dining space up a small spiral staircase.
You can read more about our thoughts on dining here in this post. I will say, any negatives were greatly outweighed by how kind, helpful, and professional the staff were. They were tremendously guest-oriented, which we appreciated being in an unfamiliar place.
Ciao!
