Smoothies are my go-to way to round out my diet, particularly as someone who doesn’t eat meat. They’re an excellent, quick, and healthy way to stay cool in the heat of summer, and if you play your cards right, you can get an extra dose of nourishing collagen to keep skin healthy and glowing, all while reducing food waste!

Collagen-Boosting Smoothie Recipe Makes 2-4 Servings

Ingredients:

  1. 2 tsp Collagen Booster Elixir
  2. 1/2 cup Organic mixed berries
  3. 1/2 cup frozen peach
  4. 1/2 cup frozen dragonfruit
  5. Any additional fruit you’d like to toss in (I love pineapple, mango, and pears!)
  6. 1 cup purified water
  7. Additional liquid vitamins as desired (I use Iodine, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, & B12)

Recipe:

  1. Dump ingredients into a blender
  2. Blend on high until smooth
  3. Pour into glasses
  4. Enjoy!

This collagen-boosting smoothie is not only delicious, but the recipe is really flexible so that you can play around with it. I like to use whatever fruit I have that’s towards the end of its life, like oranges, apples, or bananas, and it’s an excellent way to reduce food waste. Plus, I’ve never made a smoothie I didn’t love!
