Susan Shaw, one of my favorite handmade jewelry brands, recently released a classical Greek-inspired collection, and it immediately called to me. I love the fun, architectural, and mythological inspiration they drew to create this collection, so I tried to channel that into my classical Greek-inspired look for dinner at one of my all-time favorite restaurants, Zero George in Charleston, SC. It was just after the storms from Hurricane Lee passed us by, and the humidity was at least 100% (haha), but that didn’t stop us from having an incredible time! More on our dinner later. For now, here’s one of my favorite outfits I wore in Charleston.

I’m wearing the Beverly Dress in “Deep Water” by Skin Worldwide. If you’ve followed my brand for a time, you’ll know that I love this woman-owned, sustainable, thoughtfully sourced, eco-friendly brand that blends style and wellness seamlessly. This dress, which I also own in white (last worn here at Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island), is such a versatile, beautiful piece. It’s perfect for dinner, shopping, or as a cover-up at the beach. I don’t usually like the whole “dress as a cover-up” (or vice versa), but this dress is fully lined, incredibly soft, and can do double duty effortlessly.
These beautiful Susan Shaw pieces are so fun to mix and match, and they go with anything from a cute sundress to a more elegant look, or something like this classical Greek look. I love pieces like these that look as if they belong in a museum, and this collection is very unusual and unique, so the pieces really stand out. I’m partial to pearls and moonstone, and while I haven’t found much moonstone jewelry, Susan Shaw has hundreds of gorgeous pearl options, from bracelets and earrings to necklaces and rings. They’re 24k gold triple plated, so they’re perfect if you have sensitive skin like me but don’t want to spend thousands on fully gold pieces.
