Poland, Iceland, Germany, Italy & France: Our European Adventure
The past week and a half has been absolutely incredible! I never thought I’d have the chance to spend a week in Europe, and it has been so incredible, even though we’re only 1/4 of the way done!
As I mentioned in this post, it was way cheaper to fly out of Chicago rather than Detroit, so we added even more adventure onto our already full plate. You can see a few other posts about our time in Chicago here, here, and here!

Once we left Chicago, we flew into Reykjavik, Iceland, and spent a day there, and from there, we went to Warsaw, Poland. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time in Poland, but we will have a much longer layover on our way back. From Poland, we flew into Frankfurt and spent a few days south of town in Baden-Baden, a town famous for its hot springs! From Baden-Baden, we ventured deeper into the Black Forest Region of Germany. From there, we traveled to Colmar, France, and a bit further south! We still have a few more countries to visit, and I am so excited to share our trip with all of you.
Trinkehalle [Drink Hall] in Baden-Baden, Germany! Literally a great hall with huge barrels of alcohol, hot food, and a dance floor! Oddly enough, this place was only open from 11am-4pm local time, so it was never very busy [that we saw at least].
