Michigan is home to dozens of incredible festivals from cultural celebrations of every kind and the world’s largest international art festival and competition to festivals celebrating flowers, sailing, snow, food, and so much more, here are 15 of the most exciting and enjoyable festivals you just can’t miss in 2019!
Holland’s Tulip Time Festival grows more than 5 Million tulips each year, including hundreds of different varieties, and dozens of colors of this breathtaking, Dutch flower. Tulip Time is a lovely festival that takes place each spring in Holland, which celebrates Dutch heritage, Dutch dancing, Dutch fashion, and of course iconic Dutch tulips. Millions of tulip bulbs are planted every fall by volunteers and city staff, and they burst into colorful bloom late April to early May, just in time for, well, Tulip Time!
Michigan has so many delicious and unique locally owned restaurants that we Michiganders never answer the question “What do you want to eat?” with “I don’t know.” I receive lots of inquiries about where the best restaurants in Michigan are, so I decided that it’s about time I compile a list of my favorites.
