The Real Coconut in Tulum is as delicious as it is luxurious. Situated on the pristine, white beach of Tulum, we enjoyed an incredible meal surrounded by palm trees, a fresh ocean breeze, and wonderful company. Read all about why we loved it so much here.
Kin Toh is a stunning, luxury restaurant that serves modern Mayan food, built into the jungle canopy of Tulum, Mexico. It looks like a tree house straight out of a fairy tale, and it offers one of the best views of the jungle in all of Quintana Roo. Kin Toh, a division of Azulik resort, invited us to dine with them during our time in Tulum, and it was one of the most spectacular meals I’ve enjoyed.
Although we had to cut our trip short because I became extremely sick and needed to come home, we had such an incredible time in Mexico this past month! We were able to stay in 8 different cities and pass through a number of others, and it was an adventure unlike any other! I’d been […]
Querétaro has a vibrant arts and cultural scene, and they also have some incredible local dishes inspired by tradition and their unique climate. My husband and I took our first trip to New York City together for fashion week this past year, and we’ve been back twice since. In between fashion shows and after parties we went sightseeing, checked out a few museums, tried some delicious food, and did a little shopping. We could have spent an entire […]
Colmar, France is a beautiful village in the heart of the Alsace wine region of France. This village is famous for many things, such as being the inspiration behind the village in Beauty and the Beast, it was the home of the creator of the Stature of Liberty Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, and is filled with tiny canals, earning it the moniker “Little Venice”. Located about one hour across the French and German border, this small town was full of classic French cuisine and specialty wines, beautiful gift shops, and brightly colored buildings.
Michigan has so many delicious and unique locally owned restaurants that we Michiganders never answer the question “What do you want to eat?” with “I don’t know.” I receive lots of inquiries about where the best restaurants in Michigan are, so I decided that it’s about time I compile a list of my favorites. While I could make this list a mile long, I’m sharing my very favorite places. As I try new restaurants and explore more cities in Michigan, I’ll be compiling a part II, so if you don’t see your favorite place listed here, leave a comment and I’ll go check it out!
If you’ve never heard of Ladurée you’re in for a treat – literally! It’s a Paris based elegant bakery that prides itself on quality, elegance, and an all around beautiful experience. As soon as we set foot into the bakery/restaurant, it was as though we were transported to another world, one where time moved slowly.
