The Asticou Hotel’s breakfast was a delightful way to start our day. They had plenty of gluten-free and allergy-friendly options, plus they were willing to go the extra mile to prevent cross-contamination, which put me at ease. Our Meals
I opted for the fruit and yogurt bowl with gluten-free housemade granola and fresh, locally-picked berries topped with raw honey. It was the perfect combination of flavors and left me full without feeling too heavy. I think that’s the hallmark of an excellent breakfast. Wouldn’t you agree?
My husband opted for the lobster Benedict on gluten-free toast, so I could try it. So, keep in mind that it doesn’t normally come this way. We appreciated them being so accommodating.
The Verdict
Our breakfast in Northeast Harbor was perfect! The view made it even better. The staff were helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The warm, fresh breeze, abundance of flowers, and beautiful blue skies were a lovely bonus that made our breakfast even more memorable.
