I absolutely fell in love with this blue and white Free People dress the moment I laid eyes on it, so I knew I had to have it! It also comes in a gorgeous red/orange color combination, a yellow print, a perfect fall wine color, and a boho brown. As you can see above, this dress ranks about a 12/10 for “twirlability”, and I received a lot of compliments on it, which is always fun. Wearing it made me feel quite regal, and it was the perfect dress to explore London in.
For reference, I am 5’7″ and wore a small in this, which is my usual size in Free People clothing. I think it fits very true to size, and I didn’t even have to worry about hemming it, which is nice, because I’m not very tall. I paired this dress with my favorite travel shoes and my Tieks in California Navy, and I was comfortable all day long. My new favorite handcrafted metal purse came with me all around the United Kingdom, and I think it’s one of the most beautiful handbags I’ve ever seen. This bag sold out in the US the same day I posted about it on my Instagram, but here it is in stock in gorgeous gold. You can still order it from Australia, here.
We were in the United Kingdom during the hottest days in their recorded history, and I was able to keep cool with this flouncy Free People piece. I also added this straw hat, last seen here, to help keep the sun out of my eyes. I don’t know why I ever tried to survive without a giant sunhat! You can find a few similar hats here, here, and here, all under $30!
