I LOVE jewelry! I’ve heard it said (by Coco Chanel allegedly) that one should always remove an accessory or two before leaving the house, but I say do whatever you want, even if that’s adding an extra couple of pieces! With that in mind, let’s talk about jewelry brands I LOVE! Janey’s Jewels sent me this gorgeous diamond necklace I can’t get enough of (previously seen here, here, here, here, and in a bunch of other posts. I’m even wearing it as I type this, that’s how much I love this necklace haha), and she recently sent me this stunning, custom made, one-of-a-kind blue topaz ring with a Fleur de Lis setting to commemorate my most recent trip to France! The only other custom ring I’ve had made for me was the one my husband picked out and designed as my wedding ring, so this was super special to me! Janey knew I wore lots and lots of blues, and that I love water more than any normal personal should (I’m constantly outdoors, on the water, and I even studied it in college!), so she created the perfect piece for me! You can check out her Etsy shop here and have your own one-of-a-kind piece created for yourself. I’m wearing a c/o Daniel Wellington watch and bangle set in silver, which I also wear just about every single day, because it goes so well with everything I wear. After you’ve invested in some statement jewelry you can pass on to your grandchildren, balance it out with this incredibly affordable, $21 dress! I wore this dress all day long on the day I photographed it, including our long drive to where we had lunch out in the 90 degree summer sun, and while it did wrinkle, it was as easy a fix as washing and drying it! I’m wearing a small here, and the attached belt/bow means that this dress can be worn oversized and still show off your curves!
When it comes to jewelry, do you prefer a more subtle look, or are you all about stacking and layering? Do you have any jewelry with a special sentimental value? Let me know in the comments below!
See you tomorrow!
