Summertime is such a wonderful time of year. I’m definitely enjoying it more now that this horrible heat wave is finally giving us a break and easing up on the triple-digit temperatures. I’ve been wearing my Clara the Label dresses on repeat (use code WELCOME25 for 25% off!), and they’re exceptionally comfortable, whether it’s 100 or 70. Did I mention they’re Victoria Dunn’s sister label? This blue and white floral print mini dress has been one of my favorites, and one I’ve worn a few times since getting it a couple of weeks ago.

MERSEA Hat (last worn here and here), Clara the Label Dress (WELCOME25 for 25% off), Senreve Backpack, Sunglasses, Julie Vos Bracelets (L-R) 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Palm Beach Sandals, T3 Curling Iron
I’ve shared a few of my other Clara the Label favorites here and here. They’re true to size, comfortable, airy, and so easy to pack. Wrinkles fall out of these dresses with a quick steam, but they needn’t be perfect because that’s part of their charm. Made from organic cotton, handmade in India using sustainable, traditional block printing techniques, and from a woman-owned company, there’s nothing I don’t love about these dresses.

I’ve received plenty of compliments on this dress, and it’s exceptionally soft. The color palette, cut, and print are all timeless, so you can buy less and buy better by investing in your wardrobe like this. I’ve been doing that this year, and I think it’s so important to support small businesses, particularly when they’re doing so much good for the environment.

Another great woman-owned brand to explore if you’re looking for a convertible backpack and purse is Senreve, the ones who made my leather backpack. This water and stain-resistant bag can be worn as a cross-body, shoulder bag, handbag, or backpack, and it’s perfect for traveling, commuting, school, and everyday use. It comes in a plethora of colors and hardware tones, so check them out and play around with your options!
