Clara the Label, Victoria Dunn’s new sister brand, is handmade in Jaipur, India, using traditional block printing techniques, organic cotton, and comfortable cuts. The colors are so vibrant, the fabric is soft, and the fits are super comfortable, particularly in the heat. I wore this gorgeous Hazel Blockprint Maxi, which is only $50, during our visit to Mohonk Mountain House in Hudson Valley, NY, and it was the perfect companion from breakfast by the lake and a walk around the property to a dip in the pool and lounging poolside. As for the fit, I’m wearing my normal size. I found it very comfortable, particularly because the drawstring waist can be tightened or loosened around the waist for the correct fit. I’d recommend sizing down if you’re usually between sizes, as it’s very loose and billowy. But your standard size will be perfect if you like a more relaxed fit.

Some of my readers have emailed me asking for recommendations for things to wear when pregnant. This is an excellent style if you’re expecting because it’s so adjustable, easy to toss on, and vibrant.
This was the perfect beach cover-up, and it was perfect for lounging around during the hottest part of the day. Wear a slip beneath this if you plan to wear it as a dress, as it is quite sheer. I wore organic cotton shorts and an organic cotton crop top beneath it, and as you can see, it’s a bit sheer. I’ve since worn it with a nude slip, which was perfect too!

The versatility of this dress makes it an instant classic, plus the beautiful, rich blue and white colors never go out of style. I’m a huge fan of this piece! Check out the Cleo in Vineyard I styled, also from Clara the Label!
