My husband is Scottish & Norwegian, so when we visited Scotland, he picked up a beautiful, bespoke wool Blackwatch tartann suit as his family has a history of being members of the Blackwatch. Not only that, the tartan has his favorite color and mine, blue and green, plus it’s one of the most commonly sold tartans in the world. He wore it to dinner when we stayed at Balance Rock Inn in Bar Harbor, Maine, while dining at their hyper-seasonal restaurant, The Veranda.
