This outfit truly felt like summer. Bold colors, pretty gold jewelry with pearl and embellished accents, a basket bag, and sandals. It all felt so warm and cheerful, which is what I love wearing in warm weather – clothes that make me happy. I’m especially fond of tie-shoulder dresses because not only do I really like bows, I like how easy to wear and unique they are. Tofe’s a limited time of year when it’s warm enough to wear them, and it’s always something I eagerly anticipate. Now that summer is here, I’m not putting away my colorful, bold clothing anytime soon!

This colorful tie-shoulder dress is so much fun for summer. It’s from Jude Connally, a new-to-me dress brand, and I think the print is so pretty and classic. The back has a touch of elastic to it to make it comfortable and form-fitting without being tight, and this easy, comfortable dress is made of cotton to stay warm in summer. The colors are gorgeous, the care instructions are simple, and it can be dressed up or down. What’s not to love about that?
If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m OBSESSED if you haven’t noticed by now with Julie Vos jewelry. I’m slowly collecting it because it’s timeless, elegant, and easy to mix and match. I’ve said it before, but this jewelry reminds me of the kind of things I’d see in museums, and I like that more than words can express. Wearing these feel so special, and they really jazz up every outfit I wear them with. I always get lots of compliments on them too!
