On our recent visit to Watch Hill, Rhode Island, I pulled out this gorgeous, perfect-for-summer, blue and white beachy maxi dress with scallop trimmed a hem and pockets from Tuckernuck. Not only was it comfortable and easy to wear, I felt right at home on the windswept beach and near the sand dunes. There’s something about blue and white as a color combination that fits in so well at the beach, wouldn’t you agree?

Soon, I’ll share more details of our time spent in this beautiful corner of Rhode Island. I’m so thankful to live near so many new (to us) and exciting places. It has been so much fun to have my friend Jamie visit from back in Michigan and show her a few of our new favorite places. I can’t wait to explore more of the gorgeous East Coast soon and share it with her and our other loved ones when they visit us.
In the meantime, keep an eye out for new cities I’ll be adding to my website soon, including more from New York City, several new cities in Maine, including Acadia National Park, as well as more places in Connecticut, Massachusets, as well as Vermont and New Hampshire. It’s been such a dream to have the opportunity to move somewhere new and exciting. I think we’d seen and done just about everything in the Midwest, so I’m so thankful for the chance to explore a new part of the nation.
Speaking of exploring, Robin surprised me with tickets back to Japan for my birthday! I’m not sure if the borders will be open for travel this year, but our tickets were in incredible steal, cheaper than many domestic destinations, and they’re flexible dates, so if we can’t go back this year, we plan to go again as soon it’s safe. In the meantime, we are continuing to explore our new home while practicing Japanese as often as possible. I’m already planning to bring this beachy maxi dress with scallop trimmed pockets with me!
