Hello everyone! I’ve been working hard on revitalizing my YouTube channel. I’ve really missed creating fun videos, and connecting with all of you in another more personal format. I’ve also redone all of my video thumbnails, so they are much nicer looking, more organized, and help summarize the video better – I hope you’ll check it out! My latest video is about basket bags!
Read my lavender festival post here.
This video is something I’ve been wanting to make for quite awhile. I have been collecting fun basket bags from places like Bali, Japan, Mexico, and beyond, and I just love how versatile and eco-friendly they are. If nothing else, I think basket bags are a wonderful way to feel more grounded and connected to the world around us.
See more of this look here.
Unlike leather handbags, these bags are cruelty free, and all of these designs are made by workers who received fair wages in safe working conditions, so I feel great carrying around these beautiful objets d’art. Plus, many of them have stories and wonderful memories attached to them, which I discuss in this video.
See this bag I brought home from Japan, here.
If you haven’t already, read my post about 500 basket bags under $100, which I updated this past summer. There are still lots of incredible deals to be found, and most of the basket bags in this video are still in stock (with the exception of the one I purchased in Japan, which I’ve linked to a nearly identical style that can be purchased in the states).
I hope you’ll enjoy this video as much as I enjoyed making it. Part II will be forthcoming, so please subscribe to my YouTube channel if you’d like to be updated when new posts go live.
Until Next Time!
