Aama Himalayan Kitchen
Himalayan food is fantastic, but the best I’ve ever had was in Stockholm, Sweden, at Aama Himalayan Kitchen. Their menu was clearly marked with allergens; they had plenty of vegetarian and vegan options, plus their service was excellent. Most importantly, everything tasted phenomenal. Here are some of the reasons we loved eating here during our time in Sweden’s beautiful capital.

Our Meals
Vegan Jhol Momo
I couldn’t try these because they were not gluten-free, BUT my husband loved them! They smelled incredible, and there are plenty of options for those who want different fillings.

Spicy Tofu Bowl
This was a splendid dish of spiced tofu, rice, sautéed vegetables, and salad. We didn’t end up using most of the spicy mayo that came with it, because it had a perfect flavor on its own.

Tofu and Vegetable Salad
This was SO delicious. I loved the heat, the flavors, and the way everything melded together. We asked for ours extra spicy, and I really recommend it.

Garlic Shrimp
These were fantastic. Cooked to perfection, every bite was better than the last.

Crunchy Kale & Pomegranate Salad
This was so beautifully done. Covered in a savory yogurt sauce, the crisped kale, potato strings, and crunchy pomegranate seeds blended into the most refreshing salad of our trip.

The Verdict
This was one of our favorite meals in Stockholm. Every bite was packed with so much flavor. They took great care to serve our food in a way that kept me safe from food allergens. I’d go back to Stockholm just to eat here again, which is saying a lot because we had the best time in this wonderful city!
