A Tour of Dow Gardens
As a Michigan native, I’d grown up hearing about how beautiful Dow Gardens in Midland is. I’d only been there once for a relative’s wedding, but hadn’t had time to walk the grounds. We recently visited with some of our friends, and it was even more splendid than I’d heard. Wander the 110 acres of rivers, waterfalls, gardens, and pathways with me as we tour Dow Gardens. Then, plan a visit for yourself. Photos don’t do it justice!

What drew us in to Dow Gardens and the attached Whiting Forest, which I’ll create a separate post about, was their expansive rose gardens and sprawling flower displays in full bloom. As you’ll see in my photos, it poured rain nearly the entire time we visited, but with rainboots, an umbrella, and our Barbour jackets, we made the most of our time in this wonderful botanical garden. Enjoy these rainy photos!
