I fell in love with bow shoulder (or tie shoulder) tops and dresses a few years ago, and this past year, they finally became a more popular fashion choice, making them more widely available. I found this beauty at Reformation, and I just love how easy it is to wear with a white skirt and sandals for summertime.

I think the main reason I love this type of shoulder on dresses and tops is because they’re totally customizable and so much fun to wear. I feel so feminine wearing such a large, floppy bow, and there’s something so magical about the tails of each bow trailing behind me ever so slightly as I walk. The fact that I can make sure each top fits exactly how I want it to based on how I tie each bow is another reason I keep collecting this style of top and dress.
