Why I Love My Kyoto Slides by Skin
To say I’m obsessed with the Skin brand would be a major understatement. It’s practically all I wear at home, and it’s slowly taking over my closet. One of the things I can’t live without from Skin is their Kyoto slides. They’re the most comfortable, cushioned, and soft slippers I’ve ever worn, and they’re reminiscent of being at a spa in the best way possible. I love how plush they are, and I always look forward to popping on a pair after a fresh pedicure, post-workout shower, or anytime I’m home.

Susan Shaw, one of my favorite handmade jewelry brands, recently released a classical Greek-inspired collection, and it immediately called to me. I love the fun, architectural, and mythological inspiration they drew to create this collection, so I tried to channel that into my classical Greek-inspired look for dinner at one of my all-time favorite restaurants, Zero George in Charleston, SC. It was just after the storms from Hurricane Lee passed us by, and the humidity was at least 100% (haha), but that didn’t stop us from having an incredible time! More on our dinner later. Easton’s Beach in Newport, Rhode Island
Newport, Rhode Island, is one of my favorite places on the East Coast. It’s so beautiful, and there’s so much to do, plus it has some of the nicest beaches I’ve visited in New England. So, when my best friend came to visit last minute, we headed to my favorite beach to introduce her to the area! My favorite public beach to swim, relax, or read at is Easton’s Beach, also known as First Beach. Its beautiful white sand, clear blue water, and excellent public facilities make it the best spot to enjoy the beautiful weather.
