I absolutely adore Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom near Orlando, Florida. Robin and I have made so many fun memories there together, from visiting with his family on the trip we became engaged, visiting with our two best friends, Jamie & Shane, who got engaged during our trip, and most recently visiting for the most magical press trip ever! There is so much to eat, see, and do in Magic Kingdom for people of all ages, and I can’t wait to share with you my very favorite things to do in the most magical place on Earth.

If you’ve heard that Epcot isn’t as fun as the other parks, I’m here to try to change your minds. Maybe I’m excited about it because it’s a travel themed theme park, which is clearly right up my alley, or maybe it’s because I don’t like when things aren’t given a fair shake, but either way, I’m sharing all of the fun things to see and do in each region of the park, along with my favorite foods to eat and drink at Epcot, as well as a few fun facts about various regions. This week, I’ll be out of the office to spend a week at Walt Disney World for their #HappyPlace content creator event. When they invited me to join them, I was so excited I couldn’t sleep, because I absolutely love visiting theme parks! In fact, I hope to visit all of the Disney Parks around the world one day. During this visit, we will be exploring all 4 WDW parks and Disney Springs and highlighting all of the fun things to do in the parks for adults, proving that Walt Disney World isn’t just for kids!
We ended up with an unexpected extra day in Paris, and some friends invited us to join them for a day at Disneyland Paris. I’ve been to Disneyland in Anaheim, California, Walt Disney World in Florida, and Tokyo DisneySea in Japan, and though this park was the smallest, it was still a fun way to spend a day that didn’t require much planning. While visiting this park can be as simple as showing up and exploring where the wind takes you, I do recommend adjusting your expectations if you’ve visited other Disney parks, which I’ll get into later. That’s not to say Disneyland Paris isn’t worth visiting, but it was also very different from the other parks. I hope this guide helps you have a wonderful time.
The Boathouse Restaurant at Disney Springs, near Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida, is one of the most sophisticated restaurants in Disney Springs. Dine along the waters of Lake Buena Vista, take a post-meal retro amphibious car tour around the lake, and enjoy seafood & drinks you can’t find anywhere at Walt Disney World.
Our time at Waldorf Astoria Orlando was one of our favorite hotel stays we’ve enjoyed anywhere in the world. While Waldorf hotels are synonymous with impeccable service, stunning surroundings, and the best amenities money can buy, all in the most desirable locations around the world, the staff of Waldorf Astoria Orlando went above and beyond at every single turn to make our week in Orlando, Florida, time at the Walt Disney World parks, and the celebration of our two best friend’s engagement, a truly special occasion.
