St. Patrick’s Day is a HUGE deal in Michigan, and most of the United States. In fact, it’s rowdier around where I live than New Years Eve. For whatever reason, people like to pinch each other if they aren’t wearing green on this day, which I do NOT understand. I’ve had perfect strangers come up to pinch me asking “where’s your green!?”, but not this year! This year, I’m going to be sure to avoid people’s grabby hands by wearing green, without having to don a jingly headband, or light up pins (you know exactly what I’m talking about). There’s nothing wrong with those if you like them, but I prefer a more subtle pinch avoidance outfit haha.
I LOVE this shade of seafoam green. It’s beautiful for this time of year, and flattering on everyone! The tiny clover pin also adds a small pop of color, and a touch of festive class!

If all else fails, you can go with a classic green dress, a green cardigan, a green hairbow, or even green shoes! The possibilities are really endless, and how you choose to celebrate your Irish pride (even if you’re not Irish, it’s okay to celebrate!) is okay – as long as you don’t get pinched!
